La Rouge Clair Shiraz, Barossa Valley
Shiraz taken from a site we know and love. Krondorf Shiraz by Tommy Schiller off vine at 11 baume. Immediately destemmed and direct pressed to limit colour and tannin. Barrel maturation for 9 months. Bright, electric raspberry red fruit, texture and length with a hint of oak structure. A chilled or cellar temp red which challenges the conventional perception of new world Shiraz.
Bright, electric raspberry/blue fruit with sour cherries. Refined texture and length with an intended lick of oak indulgence.
