2026 'L'ambre' Semillon, Muscat à Petits Blanc & Chardonnay, Barossa Valley

Amber Wine

Semillon (57%), Muscat à Petits Blanc (31%), Chardonnay (12%)

Component 1: 2 x parcels of Valley Floor Semillon destemmed, wild fermented on skins and macerated for 2 months. Pressed to tank to settle, racked to neutral French oak and stainless steel tank. 

Component 2: 45 yo vine Muscat à Petits Blanc, destemmed and cold soaked for 2 days. Pressed, cold settled overnight and wild fermented dry. Pressed to neutral French oak and stainless steel tank.

Component 3: A component of our “La Lulu” Chardonnay was held back for this special little addition. Fruit picked, stemmed and temperature cold wild fermented on skins for 2 weeks. Aim was to build out a little more fruit and phenolics without impacting what Semillon and Muscat contribute to the nose and palate. Pressed, settled and racked to 100% neutral French oak.

A gateway approach to the wild world of Amber wines. Vibrant Semillon lime and citrus takes the stage accompanied by Muscat’s round and bold presence. Fresh yet structured with bergamot and chewy tannins.

Citrus and tea like characters with a touch of mango splice and paw paw. Honey dew to round out the experience.
